About Us

The home consists of Meagyn and her mother, Kelly. Meagyn has several adult siblings that live outside of the home. A few of her brothers visit the home frequently. Meagyn and her mother also have two cats. Meagyn enjoys watching reality TV, such as the Bachelor. Meagyn has a great sense of humor and she enjoys watching funny videos on the internet. Meagyn also enjoys playing video games, such as Mario and Nintendo.

How You Can Help

The family is looking for an individual to hang out with Meagyn, play games, keep her company, and make sure she is safe while her mother is out of the home. She has significant medical needs, but the respite provider is not expected to provide medical care. Some assistance with transfers and toileting may be needed. Meagyn has a power-lift chair, so the respite companion would not need to lift her full weight (approx 165 lbs), but she may need some help with stabilization.
