About Us

My husband Matt and I are Amelia's great aunt and uncle and are her guardians. We have our own children and grandchildren and we are both 63 years old. Amelia is happiest alone in her room. She has no friends that she sees outside of school. She does have some interaction with Waukesha CCS program providers. Amelia is able to be left home alone for several hours. She loves cats and writing. She has some interest in art. She also likes to ride her bike and go to the park and likes nature.

How You Can Help

Amelia's Dad had been taking her for regular weekends every other week, but is currently not able to do that. We would like some help on those weekends. Amelia has a job the other weekends. We also have a big trip leaving 8/24 through 9/2 and really need help especially in that time. Amelia responds well to younger, bubbly females. Responsibilities would be to make sure she eats, possibly drive her to work, make sure she takes a bath/shower. Perhaps take her out to do some activities.
