About Us

We are a family of 6 - Mom (Meghan), Dad (John), and 4 kids - 3 boys (12/11/7) and 1 girl (2). John and I both work full time, and I work primarily remote out of our home. Our 2 younger boys are very active in sports so that keeps us very busy as a family. Connor is 12 and loves to explore, just learned to skate board and animals. He is looking for care a couple nights per week around 5:30 - 8:30 pm plus some weekend hours. Looking for summer hours to begin in August and extend into the school year.

How You Can Help

We are primarily looking for a respite companion for the summer, but would be open to something during the school year in the evenings. Traditional summer care has not worked for us with Connor and as he's getting older we would like to provide him with the opportunity to stay home but would like him to have someone to interact with. He tends to interact better with adults than children because of the topics he's interested in or the depth that he likes to go in talking about topics of interest. We are looking for someone who's non-judgmental and patient but also someone that is willing to kind of push him to interact as he tends to want to isolate. He loves video games and Marvel. He loves puzzle/brain teaser toys likes Rubiks cubes. He also loves odd facts - Guiness Book of World Record type things. He read the Harry Potter books several times and is currently reading the Hunger Games. He loves going to the library. And he is a big animal lover. It would be great to find someone interested in one or more of those things.
