About Us

Just a family of three with three cats. 2 cats are friendly, one hides. Declan is a truly happy boy most of the time. Can become frustrated when he doesn’t get his way, but usually is calmed with some jumping or gentle squeezes. Loves to run around the house in his diaper watching his tablet while he plays with his alphabet puzzle, looks at books, jumps on his trampoline, and tries to get into mischief. When outside, he loves his sandbox and new swing set. In the fall, he loves to crunch the leaves. Overall he is very independent and is always finding ways to surprise us. We are working on potty training. He is usually good at using the toilet to pee, but still prefers a diaper to poop. Favorite snacks are pretzels and saltines. Loves pizza, chicken tenders/nuggets, and bread. Will try to serve himself chocolate milk or water with flavoring, does need supervision or he could spill, but will usually bring everything to you. Will sometimes copy mommy or daddy when they say things. Will also cuddle his kitties too. Declan is also a HUGE fan of water. Loves to swim and play in the bath tub! Still working on scrubbing his hands when washing, but will definitely play in the water and needs prompts for when to be done and dry his hands. Declan’s aunt and grandparents have horses and he loves to ”help” on the farm.

How You Can Help

Someone kind, easy going, with a sense of humor. Must love cats. Would love someone who isn’t afraid of changing diapers. Declan is able to put a diaper on, but cannot wipe himself when he has a bowel movement. Would love someone willing to work with us in his potty training journey. We just want someone we feel safe leaving him with who will let him be himself, but also help us to continue to unravel all of the things he knows.
