Isaiah lives with his parents, Greg and Melani, along with his older sister Joy in Holmen WI. Isaiah's father is originally from Mexico and speaks both Spanish and English in the home. Isaiah's mother is the primary individual in the family who attends to his care needs and services and is primary point of contact. Isaiah's father struggles with understanding the needs and supports that Isaiah requires.
Isaiah's mother is seeking a respite companion who is going to feel more like a 'mentor'/positive role model, who will seek an interest in his activities and engage him in community activities. Isaiah thrives when he gets to lead others in activities he enjoys and could also use help finding more age appropriate activities (currently, he is interested in technology and has been using it inappropriately to look up topics such firearms (of which the family has none in the home)). Isaiah was previously attending after school services for skill development and the family is seeking for a less intensive activity to provide him a sense of respite, as it seems he was overwhelmed and becoming easily triggered due to the extent of his services.
