About Us

Leo is 9 years old and is a very busy and adventurous young boy. He enjoys playing outside, likes reptiles, cars/monster trucks, geocaching, going to parks and swimming. Someone who enjoys being active and, on the go, but also knows when it's time to relax and watch a movie to re-charge would be ideal. We are ultimately seeking an individual who Leo will almost see as a 'big brother/big sister', that will explore the community with him and engage in fun activities. In regard to care during services, Leo will need reminders/step by step instructions to complete tasks but is able to complete tasks independently. He will also need reminders to stay on a toileting schedule to avoid having accidents.

How You Can Help

We are seeking someone who is able to be consistent, have clear expectations/boundaries but also knows how to be flexible to meet a child's needs. Ideally, this individual is going to have experience working with children with behaviors and understands the importance of building rapport, establishing motivation for transitioning away from highly preferred activities and know how to provide minimal attention to attention seeking behaviors. Provider should know that Leo may use inappropriate language/stick up his middle finger, this is not directed at the provider but just a habit/go to of Leo's. It is also important that individual is consistent with providing care, as family has no other natural supports.

I'm interested in working with Leo!
