About Us

We’re a fun, neurodiversity affirming crew with a love for dogs, drawing, and creativity of all types. Phoenix lives with mom, dad, his twin sister, and younger brother who is also autistic, as well as 3 dogs, one of whom is named Banana. Mom works from home most of the time with some travel, dad works at the VA in Madison, and Phoenix goes to school nearby. Phoenix is currently helping his mom Make a realistic nightwing (a D.C. comics character) costume from thrifted pieces- our first cosplay adventure! If you are positive, have an interest in helping a newbie explore more of nerd culture, and assume good intent, we may be a fit for you!

How You Can Help

Someone who can help Phoenix blossom and raise his self-confidence as well as just be a good, chill friend. Being willing to go with the flow/a willingness to adapt is a must. Some knowledge of autism would be really helpful, but more than anything a curiosity to learn about our boy as an individual. He’s a good, sweet, funny kid; he doesn’t need someone to “police” him- more so someone to help him shine.
